I am a PhD student in the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill studying community ecology, macroecology, and biogeography.  In other words, I am fascinated by geographic and temporal variation in the structure of ecological communities, and am particularly interested in understanding how environmental and historical processes lead to patterns in this variation.
